Yes. You only put it on if you are sure there’s no rain, or need to put the top up. There’s nowhere to put it.

Shame it can’t be on a rear hinge or someting so you can still get to the roof.
I think that’s a little much effort just for style. I suppose if you can store the car in a garage, during Summer you could leave the roof off and that thing on for maybe a few weeks at a time. That would be nice.
Or for long day trips
